Two Sides is a collection of songs that will take you through a journey…

… one that will bring us through different musical influences and aspects of life. We take off with Buddy Guy-inspired Blues, spread our wings with ‘60s gospel, and glide toward the easy-going ‘70s California sound. We’ll crash headlong into hard British Blues Rock then get a taste of Latin-Caribbean Blues, and follow that with a breath of fresh Smoky Mountain air before we ride out with a classic Texas-Blues rocker. All the while, we will cover an awesome array of the human experience. We’ll make stops to explore self-doubt and struggle, then rev up toward optimism and empowerment, and ultimately arrive at the triumph of the human spirit.

Yesterday’s trip to the post office proved, once again, why NYC is the city of my dreams. No sugar-coating (thank you very much). From people casually strolling a gorgeous summer day (in masks), to two brute gents helping a woman whose electronic wheelchair failed while she was crossing 31st and 8th (scary when you’re 80 in a mask and traffic coming on — they were so sweet I cried). It got worse inside the post office (another story), before I headed back home to finish a 14-hr work-Sunday. Here in NYC, our grit is our glory. Here is a view of zip code 10001!
