Hola, Hei, Bonjour, Hallo, Hello!
July and August brought amazing shows and musical connections for the KT Band. Our Cutting Room show (thank you NYC!!!), followed by big shows in Norway and France all felt a little like a dream. I could try to describe it — or I could just share it straight from Blues au Chateau in these videos!!I am so grateful that you are part of this journey with me ~ you are an essential part of my Sweet Lost and Found. Thanks for tuning in. Thanks for coming out to the shows! And thanks for telling your friends!
We’ll see you in September and October! In my next newsletter I have BIG NEWS to share! But for now…
Rockin’ peace to ya,

From the desk of Kirsten Thien:
Hello Good People!
As I write this to you, our house guest Magnus Berg (visiting from Norway), sits here in the office, jamming away on my “brand new” 1938 Gibson EH-150 lap steel guitar (my favorite birthday present ever!). We are about to dig into songs for our upcoming shows in NYC, Norway and France.
It is with great pleasure that I announce our next NYC full band show, and answer the question I hear from folks all around the world: “Where do you play in New York!?”

On Sunday, May 4, 2014, Kirsten Thien will be inducted into the NY Blues Hall of Fame. This is a great honor that Kirsten will soon share with a list of greats who have positively impacted the NY State Blues scene and vibe! In this particular ceremony we will also see NY Yankee, Bernie Williams and his pal in Jazz and Blues, Mr. Gil Parris also perform and be inducted. It’s a great honor and if you are in NY State this weekend, plan a morning hike and then join us!
