“I woke up this morning…at the house on 43rd.” These are the words that start my most recent co-write …a song written with my Co-Musician/Facilitator Julio Fernandez (from Spyro Gyra) and six Veterans living at the Samaritan Daytop Village here in NYC. This song was written as part of a program called “Voices of Valor”. I’m reaching out today, on #GivingTuesday, to bring awareness to Music For All Seasons — the organization that runs the “Voices…” programs and so many other programs that bring healing music into non-traditional settings such as hospices, hospitals, shelters, and even private homes with in-home caregivers.
